Norea ter Sport Fishing
Captain Nick was born and raised in Massachusetts, commercial fishing for striped bass and Bluefin tuna. After "retiring" early from being a high school teacher, he moved to Marathon in 2005 where he used to vacation with family every year. Nicks love affair with fishing in the Keys was instant, starting with his first trip to marathon in grade school.
"Two day trip- success”

Just finished up a 2 day fishing trip w/ Nick. First morning, he hooked us up with some serious tarpon. 2 huge hookups and many more bites. (first 2 hours of our trip). The next stop was some reef fishing where we caught red snappers and smaller types of fish( great fights on light tackle). In the afternoon, Nick found permit. I've never heard of this fish before... Let me tell you, fights like hell. Amazing first day. Second day, crazy amounts of mahi mahi. Pretty much unlimited ; Landed one 40+ inch. Hooked up with a 27lb snow grouper. Tried our luck swordfishing to end the day.
A great trip, tons of fish. Nick was on point always working it. Very knowledgeable of the spots and when to try something new. Great experience...I'd recommend to anyone. Visited April 2015
I own my boats and my business. I captain my own boat, and I am intensely passionate about what I do. This means you're not getting a hired captain on a boat owned by someone else, who is just looking to get out, get back , and get paid. I'm not looking to take anyone out to get them seasick so I can can come in early and charge full price like some other operations. I absolutely refuse to come in without a great catch.
